This week’s pet of the week is Hunter. Our team leader Jess picked Hunter because he is a sweetheart that loves treats and gives hand/paw shakes. His owners were the first to take advantage of our preventative care package, for a non-senior pet because they want the best for their sweet boy!
Pet of the week for April 27th 2016 was picked by one of our newest technicians, Tennille. Lexi, the 7 ½ week old golden retriever, brightened our morning with her adorable puppy face!
Seldom does a pet with experience walk into an animal hospital freely, but Bubba the puggle dove in nose first with excitement! From the beginning of the appointment he walked into the room sniffing every square inch. His immense curiosity for all the different smells knew no bounds as he stoically sniffed the Otoscope, not giving the doctor a chance to inspect his eyes or ears! Every time the technician or doctor attempted to leave the room they would hear a flurry of “sniffs” as Bubba attempted to follow them out the door. If you would like your pet to be more like Bubba, North Memorial has a “Fear Free” program for cats and dogs just call for information.
The pet of the week for April 13th 2016 is Beans. Our technician Bradlin picked him because he is the most laid back, easy going patient. He never complains and is always curious about everything around him. Plus, he is named after food, which makes for the best names!
Little did we know we had a celebrity among us! One of our patients “Raven” played the part of Toto in a local play. He made us all proud with his performance.
Please help North Memorial Animal Hospital in welcoming Ziggy to our extended family. Ziggy is a 9 week old Yorkie puppy. This cute little guy weighs in as a heavy weight champ at 1.7 pounds, and is as big as…….. well a donut! Ziggy became a part of the Fracul family after the loss of a beloved pet and friend. Ziggy is bringing new hope and life to his family and we here cannot get enough of him. So welcome Ziggy and we cannot wait to see how you grow over the next few months.
This week’s pet of the week is Fredo, an almost two year old Saint Bernard. Our receptionist Mary D. choose Fredo this week who is ready for St Patrick’s Day! Some fun facts about him: loves treats, going to bed early, walks, and lots of love. He also loves to see his friends at North Memorial. ☘?
This week’s featured pet is “Connor” a 15 year old Burmese cat. Our technician Lindsay picked him because he has a very unique meow and is adorable! Connor can actually be identified just by his meow. We love seeing him at the hospital and have gotten to know him well.
The pet of the week for November 4th is “CoCo” a 12 year old Mastiff mix. CoCo is a regular here for her laser treatments and was chosen by our receptionist Mary D. The entire staff has become attached to her as we have watched how much improvement in mobility she has gained by the laser treatments. CoCo is lucky to have such a dedicated mom that will do whatever she can for her.
This weeks pet of the week is “Lilly” a 10 year old Border Collie mix. Our technician Tori choose Lilly because she loves Border Collies! The first time Tori met Lilly she came in to have a wound treated, we found out that her sister had picked on her because Lilly was (and still is) the instigator! Through all of it Lilly is always happy and excited to see us.
The pet of the week for October 21st is “Bocce” a 6 year old Bull Mastiff. Our receptionist Brittany choose Bocce because he’s a regular visitor to us and is always patient for his procedures and allergy injections. He looks intimidating to those that don’t know him but he’s really a gentle giant who loves to lean against our legs and give lots of kisses to all his “girlfriends” here.
Fenway, a 5 year Yorkie mix, is our pet of the week for September 16th, 2015. Our Team Leader Jess picked Fenway because he is the sweetest pup! Even though he has been through several surgeries here he is still happy to see everyone and always gives out kisses!
This week’s pet of the week is “Maxwell Dexter Maine” a brown patched tabby and white Maine Coon. Our technician Megan picked Maxwell because he is always so sweet and well behaved! He also gives great hugs!
The Pet of the Week for October 14th, 2015 is “Piglet” a 5 year old Mackerel Tabby and White DSH. When he comes to visit us at NMAH he is always sporting his red harness and leash. He is his Mom’s pride and joy. Piglet shares his home with another kitty Mia. Mom says her name is very fitting as Mia likes to hide and is always “Missing In Action” but enjoys her time with Piglet. Our technician Kourtney chose Piglet because he is a good example of what Amazing pet care looks like! Mom always does what is needed for Piglet and her other pets and he reminds Kourtney of her own kitty Moo as Piglet is always loving and laid back when he visits us.
